100NO 623: Human Forever with Teun Toebes preview – dementia, ageing and humanity

Episode Summary

In two weeks time we will be releasing our interview with Teun Toebes, award-winning film-maker who lived in two nursing homes across 3.5 years – out of choice.

At just 26, Teun is creating a tidal wave of change across the world as we question how we care for, love and support older people – particularly those with dementia.

It’s so easy to think of this about our parents or grandparents; but depending on your age and stage of your life, you might be thinking about how your family, friends and wider society will support you as you get older.

It’s fair to say this young man has had quite a profound impact on us. Today’s ep is an introduction to Teun and his work, and in a fortnight on ep 625 we will release our full interview.

You can follow Teun on Instagram and LinkedIn.
