100NO 27: 1 Cancer, 6 Ironmans, 67 Marathons, 78 years old

Episode Summary

Dr Ruth Heidrich is a shining example of what it takes to age with grace. Having had her fair share of setbacks in her life, particularly being diagnosed with breast cancer at age 47, Ruth transformed her lifestyle – particularly her diet and her exercise levels – to not only conquer the big C, but to go on and become the oldest women to compete in Ironman triathlons (She calls herself an IronLADY!), and continue to shatter the stereotype that you should slow down as you age.
