100NO 269: Singing For Wellness & Longevity with Deanna Kangas

Episode Summary

A number of the graceful agers and 100 Not Outers we interview and speak about on the podcast love to sing and dance. We see the joy and love of singing and dancing in Ikaria on our Longevity Experience at the panigiris, and all longevity cultures have a strong element of singing in their community spirit.

To share with us why this is and how good singing is for personal wellness we’re going to chat with Deanna Kangas. Deanna is the Founder and Director of Voicehouse, Australia’s largest adult vocal studio.

Deanna started dancing at 3, playing the piano at 6 and singing at 8. She grew up watching musicals and having performance aspirations and has performed live in front of more than 40,000people.
